A Site Survey is an inspection of a property where solar panels are able to produce the power matched to the facility or where the solar panels are going to be installed, typically occurring after an agreement has been reached with the renewable power utility provider. The benefit of doing a site survey is to ensure that the preliminary design is feasible in order to generate a proposal and create a permit-ready plan that can be submittted to the City, State & Utility Provider.
